Of course, being a lawyer who probably handles more than one matter at a time, you surely realize that Rep. Dunkin has other issues he cares about and works on. I'm sure you also know that more people are killed in cross-walks every year than while jay-walking. I bet the average jay-walker is also paying more attention to traffic than the average ped-texter. After reading the article I'm alarmed that a State Representative who's district is facing so many serious problems is spending his time introducing such unnecessary legisltaion. It's not laughable, it's just plain irresponsible. Ken Dunkin should be more concerned with the children being killed on his streets and the state's buget crisis rather than the texting habbits of Chicago's walkers.
