The Technical University of Munich* – Culture War – 1
Halberstadt is an idyllic little town in the foothills of the Harz Mountains in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. The people there are proud of their centuries-old culture and the treasures of their cathedral, the greatest church treasures in the world.
Halberstadt, though, is also a place where you don’t dare walk through the streets alone at night. It was here that a group of right-wing extremists last year attacked a troupe of young actors who were on their way home after the town premiere of their production of “The Rocky Horror Show.”

Die Technische Universität München* – Kulturkampf – 1
Halberstadt in Sachsen-Anhalt ist eine idyllisch gelegene Kleinstadt im Harzer Vorland, die stolz ist auf ihre Jahrhunderte alte Kultur, auf den Domschatz, den größten Kirchenschatz der Welt.
Halberstadt ist aber auch ein Ort, in dem man sich nachts besser nicht allein durch die Straßen traut. Denn hier hatten 2007 Rechtsradikale eine Gruppe junger Schauspieler überfallen, die sich nach der Premiere ihres Stückes “The Rocky Horror Show” auf dem Heimweg befanden.
