That was the exact goal that actress Marlene Behrmann set for herself. She was one of the witnesses of the neo-Nazi attack, but she has made a decision to go on living in Halberstadt. “This is where I was born and raised – there’s no reason for me to turn my back on this town. To do that would only be to encourage the right-wing extremists.”

Genau das hat Schauspielerin Marlene Behrmann sich als Ziel gesetzt. Auch sie war Zeugin des schrecklichen Überfalls. Sie hat sich jedoch konkret dafür entschieden, in Halberstadt zu bleiben. “Ich bin hier geboren und aufgewachsen - für mich gibt es keinen Grund, der Stadt den Rücken zu kehren. Damit würde man solchen Leuten nur noch Mut machen.”
