王军：华为“辞职门”
恐怕很少人会同意以下论断——法律制定出来不是供人们遵守的，而是供人规避的。这个论断可能不符合人们对法律的理想，但却是每天都在发生的事实。法律不过是游戏规则。法律制定出来了，游戏的各方当事人都有动力用尽规则，趋利避害。在这个意义上，人们千方百计规避法律，本身就表明法律在起作用。当然，高明的法律和平庸的法律将在此刻分出高下。

下文发表于<高教纪事>(The Chronicle of Higher Education),作者是美国一所大学的教授. 看来凡是想要控制网络的人–无论出于好心还是恶意–都不喜欢Tor这样的软件.高教纪事的按语里是这样介绍的: “A professor’s use of software to protect his privacy as he surfs the Web does not go unnoticed. Paul Cesarini, an assistant professor of visual communication and technology education at Bowling Green State University, describes his experience.”这倒让我对Tor好奇起来,看来该下载试用以下这个软件. 只是之前还真没注意过学校的使用协议,希望哈佛不会像Bowling Green State University对Paul Cesarini教授一样因此而找我的麻烦.

支撑近代化的“中国式金融”

在现代化的进程中，传统和现代的因素有对立、抗拒的一面，同时也会有相融和能够结合的一面。19世纪后半叶到20世纪前半叶，中国的官利分配制度、新式企业吸储和现代银行、传统钱庄相互借鉴融合，都是这方面活生生的事例。

内容提要：本文以晚清状元张謇创办的南通大生纱厂为例，从三个方面具体分析中国早期股份制企业的特点。其一，对大生纱厂创办时张謇招股难的原因进行分 析，认为非官非商亦非买办的身分是他招股集资屡遭挫折的根源。其二，对大生纱厂实行的“官利”分配制度进行了探讨。认为“官利”制度的实行，受当时整个社 会高利贷环境的影响和制约，有一定的合理性和积极意义，不能把大生纱厂此后的困境简单归结于官利制度。其三，通过大生纱厂股东大会，分析其在制度建设方面 的努力和演变，从一个侧面反映了早期中国股份制企业成长发展的状况。
