运用典型引路进行宣传，可以通过经验交流会，请先进单位或典型人物作报告，介绍其经验和做法；也可以通过向各地发文件、通报事迹材料，推广他们的经验和体会；还可以通过大众传播媒介，如报刊、杂志、广播、电视等刊登、传播他们的先进事迹；也可组织现场会、座谈会、演讲会等方式，现身说法，达到自我教育，自我启发的目的。
