Prior to joining the Harvard Law School faculty in 2011, Rory worked as a senior advisor helping to set up the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He also managed teams and directly advised CEOs and other senior executives of Fortune 500 companies while working with McKinsey & Company. He has published in the Harvard Law Review, Christian Science Monitor, San Francisco Chronicle, California Lawyer, and Albany Law Review, among others. He graduated magna cum laude from Pomona College and spent several years working on social projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the U.S. before earning his JD magna cum laude from Harvard Law School.
Rory co-teaches (with Robert Bordone) “Advanced Negotiation: Multiparty Negotiation Workshop: Group Decision Making, and Teams” in the fall semester. He teaches the “Dispute Systems Design” seminar in the spring.
