Hacking Valve isn’t cool
Got this story from Slashdot. One thing interesting about the account is how frank Gabe Newell the spokesperson on this incident for Valve has been. Personally it annoys me that people are DoSing and trying to steal secrets from a game company.
Is there new game engine THAT precious to do all this? Sounds more like a bored hacker.
It’d be nice if more companies were a little more frank on how they’ve been exploited. It gives a better picture of how real attacks occur.
