When I first started learning a little bit about more Japanese and
had a chance to watch some Japanese TV I saw some glimpses of Dave
Spector awhile ago however I never picked up his name. I
finally managed to pick it up after seeing him on TV with his name
plastered in one of the corners. To get to his level of fluency in
Japanese would be awfully nice if you ask me. Some other expats
seem to be awfully annoyed with him since he appears on TV and gets
solicited for his ‘opinion’ all the time. Perhaps, he isn’t
informed on everything but hey I respect him for making a good buck
off the Japanese networks for just being himself or at least ‘token gaijin’

Where can I read more about him?

Man, porn store clerks have some of the goofiest stories to tell.
Then again working in a place like that is definitely not usually
the place where you get a higher proportion of ‘normal’ people as
customers.
