Law school jargon

I picked up the Record (the Harvard Law School student newspaper) at the Berkman Center, and this humor piece lampooning the jargon of the law school classroom made me laugh. A tidbit:

What I learned at HLS was how to talk like a lawyer. [Jump to footnote: It's worth pointing out that "what I learned at law school" is different from "what I should have learned at law school" which is different from "what they tried to teach me at law school" which is different from "the law."]

I don’t usually find the Record too funny. But this was — wait for it — the exception that proved the rule.
