NYU as Deanship Training Ground

Brian Leiter reports that Lawrence Sager will be the new Dean at the University of Texas School of Law.  (This time, because Professor Leiter was on the search committee, it is more comprehensible than usual that he knows the news faster than anyone else.)

This is interesting to me because Sager becomes the fourth dean at a major law school who was on the faculty at New York University School of Law when I was a student there.  In addition to Sager, the others are Richard Revesz at NYU, Larry Kramer at Stanford, and Michael Schill at UCLA.  I guess former NYU Dean John Sexton made it look like a great job.
