The Student Bar Association here at the University of Cincinnati College of Law has launched a new blog, the Daily Taft, thus creatively disproving the conventional view that our school has run out of things to name after our most celebrated alumnus. The postings so far combine campus news and events with helpful lists of goings-on around Cincinnati. (Note to self: lists of multiple social and entertainment events suggest that students may not have enough reading to do.)

Those outside the Cincinnati area might find more of interest in the blog’s “Today in Legal History” section. It turns out that today, October 12th, is a date of no small significance to readers of this blog: it was eight years ago today that Congress passed the DMCA.
