Not so new song makes it not so big

Those closest to me are quite familiar with my peculiar musical interests; most notably my possession of maybe 20 or so renditions of Pachelbel’s Canon and my ‘OCD-CD’ of songs that I have listened to for as long as I can remember. Well, a song recently made it into my small library and it can’t hurt to mark the occasion with a celebratory, albiet brief, blog post. Congratulations K.D. Lang, your version of Neil Young’s ‘Helpless’ will now be listened to with an almost certainly unhealthy frequency alongside classics ranging from the Righteous Brothers’ ‘Unchained Melody’ to Rammstein’s ‘Buck Dich’.
