FEMA leadership was weakened by political appointees at the top–the facts

As a person with a background in large-scale organizations, one thing I believe is often missed is the importance of seasoned leadership with experience in the particulars of a given business or activity. 


This story in the Washington Post reports in detail the weakness of emergency management leadership in FEMA, with a preponderance of former lobbyists and similar sorts in top roles.
