Back in the U.S.A.
So, I got back yesterday. I’m sad and happy to be back: I miss so much about Brazil, but I’m overjoyed at many of the things at home.
Not least among them the food; Brazil is not vegetarian-friendly. First meal: mammoth black bean & cheese burrito followed by strawberry shortcake. Second meal: masala dosa with sambar (a south Indian dish). I’ve regained five of the ten pounds I’d lost.
But I’d gladly trade them for some time at a Brazilian beach.

Hi. I loved your pictures and the detailed description. I am thinking of moving to Brasil b/c my boyfriend just recently moved back there. Actually I was just there for the past ten days and spent a lot of time in Buzios and Niteroi (suberb of Rio). So I have been trying to think of what I can do there. I thought of just travel writing, but since I am a lawyer (currently I am a second year associate at a New York law firm), I thought I should do something in my feild as well.
