Peeps Research

“Peep Research: A study of small fluffy creatures and library usage” by Susan Avery and Jennifer Masciadrelli of Millikin University.

And people say librarians have no sense of humor.

After last Thursday’s blog meeting, I had a discussion with a librarian who’s my upstairs neighbor and someone I met in high school, Vernica, about what to put on the blog. She and I are both having “content problems,” i.e. what should we do with our blogs, what should we put on them, what purpose should we use them for, etc. I think this item shows that appropriate content will present itself.

Mmmmmm peeps!

I still remember my high school chemistry teacher (whose name I can’t remember, but she looked like George Washington) blowing up (as in inflating, not exploding) a pink peep bunny in a vacuum chamber.

Hey–I was going to post the Peeps Research page on my blog. Of course, my blog is nonexistent. Plus, I originally thought of the idea on 4/22 (Marshmallow Peep Day according to my How to Draw a Radish desk calendar), and the context for posting that page has already passed for me. . . Anyhow, I am glad to see that you have started blogging. Maybe your work will inspire me to get started!
