Library groups support Verizon in lawsuit

The Recording Industry Association of America is trying to get Verizon Communications to reveal the identities of its subscribers who have violated copyright laws while trading music. Verizon is trying to protect the identity of its clients. Recent court rulings have permitted the RIAA to get subpeonas forcing Verizon to name the abusers. Verizon is fighting those subpeonas. The American Association of Law Librarians (AALL), the American Library Association (ALA), and the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) support Verizon.

I wonder what the Special Libraries Association (SLA) thinks about all of this.
