When will the 3rd Division return from Iraq?

National Public Radio’s Morning Edition aired a piece this morning about why there are still troops in Iraq and how long they might be over there. Eric Westervelt specifically reports on the Army’s 3rd Division. This division calls Ft. Stewart in Savannah, Georgia, its US home. My best friend Paul’s Army reserve unit is connected to the 3rd Division, so when the 3rd Division leaves Ft. Stewart, Paul’s unit goes down to Savannah. His unit has been down there since January while the 3rd Division serves in Iraq. (Paul’s brother, Pete, is serving as a military police officer with the Army in Iraq.)
