Iraq’s Antiquities via Archaeology

Archaeology, a magazine published by the Archeological Institute of America for the general public, has a section on its Web site about Iraq’s antiquities. It not only includes articles about recent events relevant to Iraq’s museums, like their looting and the efforts to recover stolen treasures, but it includes a series of reports about the plundering of museum pieces after the Gulf War and articles about the effort to protect antiquities when the current military conflict seemed likely.
