Retirement on the Supreme Court
(Had I titled this piece “The Supreme Court gets a new librarian,” some of you wouldn’t have read any further.)
Here’s a profile of Judith Gaskell, who has directed the Rinn Law Library at the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago for 20 years and will become the Supreme Court’s new librarian on August 11. She is the tenth librarian the court has had and the third female to serve as librarian.
She will replace Shelley Dowling, who held the position for 15 years.
