The Worm’s Got Me Double
Besides having over 1000 messages in one of my e-mail accounts this morning (and that’s just this morning) and 570 by the end of business yesterday that’s related to the latest worm, I just got a bunch of bounced e-mail messages in another account. I didn’t send anything to those people. When I read deeper into the e-mails, I realized that the worm is using my e-mail address. Great.
If you get unsolicited e-mail from me, I’m really sorry. I swear I didn’t have anything to do with it. Honest.
(It would almost be funny if one account spams the other, wouldn’t it?)
All this spam is making me hungry. I wonder if there’s any place around here to get spam sushi or if I have to go all the way to Hawaii for that…
Addendum 8/21: I just found out that one of my inundated e-mail accounts has a feature that will let me automatically delete all of the e-mail matching a certain pattern. I ran the variations of the spam’s subject lines through that routine and suddenly, 1663 of the 1700 new messages were magically gone. heh heh heh
