Christopher Lydon Interviews Polly Toynbee about the BBC

Listen to Christopher Lydon interview Polly Toynbee of The Guardian on the latest scandal concerning exaggerated Iraqi weapons reports in Britain. She also talks about the BBC, its involvement in revealing the truth about the reports, and its relationship to the government. “Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee made a lot of points I hadn’t heard before in a conversation this afternoon on the matter of who “sexed up” the story last autumn and winter of Saddam Hussein’s 45-minute trigger on world-threatening weaponry,” typed Christopher.

(I haven’t listened yet, but it’s sure to be good.)
