USA PATRIOT Act & Ed Meese
Here we go again. Ed Meese, former Attorney General, is attacking librarians over our stance on the USA PATRIOT Act, claiming that we’d rather give children pornography than fight terrorism. The link above goes to an American Library Association press release about the incident. Supposedly salon.com has a worthwhile article about the show, but I’m not a subscriber, so I don’t know for certain.
