Upcoming Blog Workshops

The New Englnd Chapter of the American Society for Information Science and Technology (NEASIST) is organizing a hands-on workshop about blogging on November 13th. It’s a follow-up to their popular blogging program last spring.

Also, the Simmons College LISSA and ASIST Student Chapter are planning a program about blogging, too, with Steven Cohen of Librarystuff.net. “Learn how to start a Blog and Why is it Important?” is on Wednesday, November 12, 1003 with a 5:30pm reception and a 7pm program. It’s at Simmons College, Beatley Browsing Room (located next to the circulation
desk).

Addendum 11/5: The location of the Simmons College event has changed. It is now at the Beatley Browsing Room instead of c103.

Addendum 11/12: My notes from this lecture and a link to the presentation are available.
