It’s Snowing! It’s Snowing!
It started snowing at about 7:10 this morning. I’ve already been out playing in it in my bare feet and pajamas. Big, slow-falling flakes. The kind that I find nice and relaxing to watch.
In years past, I’ve had a “snow buddy” to call or wake for the first snow, but sadly enough, I don’t have one this year. So I decided to make you my snow buddy, even though it’s off-topic for my blog.
My big cat, Oscar, who usually loves snow and gets all excited by it, is a little wary of it this morning. Instead of running outside, getting covered in it, then running inside to show me, he’s pacing around the house mewing.
Sometimes being woken by disturbing dreams has its benefits, I suppose. Otherwise, I would have gotten much-needed sleep until 8 am and perhaps missed the first snow of the season.
Now that my feet are warm again, I’m going back outside. Look for me: I’ll be the one catching flakes on my tongue. Mmmmmmmm snow …
