One of my blog group friends referred me to this article about text mining in yesterday’s New York Times. It’s basically about computer programs that can quickly read text, create links among documents, and produce a map readers can follow.

The New Englnd Chapter of the American Society for Information Science and Technology (NEASIST) is organizing a hands-on workshop about blogging on November 13th. It’s a follow-up to their popular blogging program last spring.
