Blog Readers, Meet Pete

Pete is the soldier on the right wearing gloves. He’s also the brother of my best friend. I happened to be on the phone with him tonight when he hit CNN’s Web site and saw Pete standing there. He said he’d seen the photo before with a caption identifying Pete. Pete is with the 720th Military Police Battalion in the 4th Infantry Division near Tikrit.
