Springfield (Mass.) City Library in Trouble
“…the Springfield Library and Museums Association wants to throw the library out of its stately building. In an action critics say is like a bank robbery in broad daylight, the SLMA is threatening to turn the building into a museum, which would force the city to pay millions of dollars for a new library.”
