“Another ‘Hysteric’ Librarian for Freedom” Button
The American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom is selling these inexpensive buttons to raise awareness about the USA PATRIOT ACT’s threats to intellectual freedom. The page linked above includes some brief background about the situation and a link to more information about the act.
I plan to order a button. If you’re interested in getting one and you see me regularly, let me know very soon and I’ll order several at a time. They’re $2 each for 1-10 buttons, 11-50 are $1.50 each, more than 50 costs $1.25 each.
