Server Sneezes and a BloggerCon II Update

At about the same time I posted a note on the Berkman Thursday Meetings blog about BloggerCon II, I tried to post that note on this blog. I got a 404 error message from the server and the post didn’t make it to this blog’s front page. The news item is no longer in the queue of items waiting to be posted and not marked as something not yet posted to the homepage in the discussion group. I’m not sure how to get it to appear on my front page, other than by writing it again, which seems silly because it’s obviously here on my blog somewhere if it’s in the discussion group. This is the second time a post has magicaly disappeared from my front page recently. I wanted to figure out what happened to it when it disappeared, but I had to relinquish the computer I was borrowing and go to a meeting, so I’m just now getting around to trying to figure out what happened. At least this time, I don’t have the confirmation e-mail saying it was posted to the homepage. Bizarre.

Anyway, check out the BloggerCon blog for updates about BloggerCon II, including the date (Saturday, April 17th), hotel accommodations, and a tentative schedule.
