The Many Roles of Libraries

Shimon writes about what good a library is. He writes some reasons why he goes to a library, what improvements he would like to see in his ideal library (yea! food! Some libraries are already doing this, by the way.), and what holds libraries back from making these changes.
Jenny also reported on Shimon’s inspiration for the post–something David Weinberger blogged about a librarian panel at sxsw.
