An anecdote reminding us that not everyone knows what RSS is: After a conference presentation about RSS, someone in the audience stood up and asked what RSS is. The people in the room applauded because they all wanted to know, but many weren’t brave enough to ask. This story reinforces the idea that right now, if someone is going to do anything at length about RSS–and maybe even blogging, too–they might want to start at the very beginning by explaining what it is and what it does before getting into the more complicated issues.
