300th Anniversary of Newspapers in America
To mark the 300th anniversary of newspapers in America, John Lenger, who is one of my editors, wrote this piece asking whether newspapers will be around in another 50 years. He told me he had a difficult time getting it published and finds it a little ironic that it finally got published on the Web. The New England Press Association might put it in a print publication. The anniversary is this Saturday, April 24.
