Blogging the DNC
A coworker pointed me to this Boston Globe article about the Democratic National Convention organizers warming up to the idea of allowing bloggers to have press access. The article discusses the intersection between bloggers and big media outlets a little bit. It also mentions that some bloggers, like Joshua Micah Marshall of Talking Points Memo are asking for contributions to help fund their trips to the conventions.
I don’t plan to go to the convention. I will be covering for a coworker who will be working there.
