RSS Resources

Gary Price pointed me to these two resources:

He went to a presentation about metadata, which he blogged, and suggested I take a look at the PowerPoint presentation RSS: Really Simple Syndication - A Publisher’s Perspective by Howard Ratner of Nature Publishing Group. (Though it talks about the history and creation of RSS, it does not mention Dave Winer.) The presentation seems a little disjointed in outline form, but it’s there and talks about ways to handle incoming feeds.

“Can blogging replace communities of practice?” This piece examines how blogs compare to other community of practice tools.
