Blogs 6 and 7

Today I began blogging on two more blogs.

One is for a hobby no one wants to read about on my other blogs. It’s a group blog for a bunch of us involved in a summer project and it gets one blogger-wannabe blogging and may suck a few others into the blogging world.

The other is for a panel I’m on dealing with blogging that’ll be at the upcoming ASIST (American Society of Information Science and Technology) Annual Conference with Tim Berners-Lee as the keynote speaker. The conference is in Providence, Rhode Island, in November.

And since this panel is something that’s directly related to my job, that I’m doing as part of my job, that’s a sanctioned work activity, I can blog legally at work now. Right? But just on that blog …

I’m excited about using a blog as a communication and sharing (collaborative) tool in this manner. Four of us are on the panel and will contribute to the blog. We figured it was the best way to brainstorm and share resources and ideas. Besides, we are going to be talking about blogging. It just makes sense.

I’m not sharing the URL because it isn’t for public consumption.

What bloggie things should the panel talk about? We’re interested in suggestions.

(”I thought you only had four blogs. What happened to number 5?”

I’m not telling.)
