Score! Spot 13 Is Mine!
I took over spot 13 on Harvard’s Blog Rankings today. I’ve been hoping to hit 13 for a while, watching my blog slowly creep up there over the last few months. I wonder how long it will be before Jim Moore will win it back. The difference between spots 14, 13, 12, and 11 isn’t very much. I have a feeling I won’t be in 13 for very long. Darn it. Maybe I’ll stop blogging for a while to try to hold my ground.
I’ve been getting phenomenal amounts of traffic lately, having had many consecutive 1000+ days and a few days when hits numbered over 2000. I don’t know why. My referer log doesn’t show any unusual patterns besides a slight increase in referer spam.
(This post is supposed to be humorous, by the way.)
Addendum: Yep, within a few hours, Jim Moore was back in 13 and I’m back in 14. Well, it was fun while it lasted. I have a feeling our two blogs will be leapfrogging for the next few days. The competition could get exciting. Jim’s blog could move up to number 12 soon, which means I’ll be competing against someone I’ve competed against before for spot 13. There’s only about 400 points separating spot 14 from spot 12. Yeah, I know you care, but this is what some of us talk about sometimes when we need a break from the serious stuff we put on our blogs.
