A friend and I joked that it’s only because I’ve said some nice things about Feedster recently and have been doing some stealth marketing to my librarian colleagues. ; )

I’m not sure how they select the Feed of the Day, but I know it isn’t as random or electronic as something like the Clarkbot. (What do you know: that post mentions Feedster, too.) Some of my blogging friends have been featured or suggested other blogs to be featured. A blog I’ve contributed to was selected a few weeks ago. I’m pretty sure the folks at Feedster look at the blog or featured site before featuring it. Perhaps in this case, someone made a terrible error. (ha ha ha that’s a joke)

And, goodness, a few days ago, I asked someone at Feedster about a revenue generating idea I had for them based on the Feed of the Day. Good thing he didn’t like it.

(Of all days to change my blog’s name to honor my friend Highwater’s birthday, too … maybe I’ll change it back)

Addenda: I swear I didn’t do any intentional lobbying to have this blog be Feed of the Day. And the rumors about me offering Scott Johnson of Feedster money or any other goods or services to have my blog selected are just rumors.
