Technorati’s Page for DNC Bloggers

Technorati has a page culling posts from people writing about politics during the Democratic National Convention. It includes bloggers without DNC credentials as well as those blogging from the convention.

(This is funny. You know how so many news sources require people to register before viewing articles so they can collect some information about their Web site visitors? I clicked on the permalink for the above blog post and got one of those registration pages. What a great way to collect information about blog readers. I wonder how many of my readers would fill out a simple survey before reading a post.)

You post content; they get revenue: These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.

It’s too bad. I got a comment from a reader recently who said he’d gotten into my Herald blog without registering and thanked me. I hoped that meant the blog had been moved from behind the registration wall, but I guess not. Oh well.
