Google on Libraries and Comments from Librarians

The folks at the ResourceShelf report on the Playboy interview with Google’s Larry Page and Sergey Brin and respond to their comments about libraries and librarians. Gary Price and Shirl Kennedy observe that Google is just one of many tools in use, people can often access many electronic resources via their library without actually having to be in the library, and many other electronic resources, like databases, can be more appropriate to use, depending on the information need.
