A colleague came to me all excited the other day, “I just got out of an intense LexisNexis course!” He gushed “I know jiu jitsu now!”
I replied, “Do you really know jiu jitsu or do you just know how to find it?”

This sounds a little bit like a musician friend’s (devastating) comment on my mandolin playing: “Do you /play/ that thing, or do you just know some tunes?”
