I take it as a compliment when I call an office to verify information they “own” and they refer me back to myself. “You want to call that office because they know everything.” Thanks!

That is the greatest feeling, isn’t it? My brother phoned me one night last week and was telling me the lyrics to a song that he was desperately trying to remember. Did I know its name and who performed it? “Give me a sec,” I said. A quick search found the answer and he told me, “You’re good.” My reply: Well, you know why? I’m going to be a librarian and librarians can find anything!” Besides the fact that it’s true, I loved saying it!
