Resources for Bill (and others interested in blogging in small businesses)

I did something kind of stupid tonight. I ran into a guy who’s interested in using blogs in his business. I said I had some resources about blogging in business, especially blogging in small businesses, I could share with him. I told him how to find my blog. I intended to send him an e-mail pointing to some sources of note. It wasn’t until about twenty minutes after we parted ways that I realized I didn’t have his e-mail address or any way to contact him. Good thing I have this blog …

Bill Ives often shares useful tips for business bloggers on Portals and KM. He posted something on Thursday about starting a business blog.

Some blogging in/for businesses resources are in this Friday Exchange presentation I gave in June.

Addendum:

Business Blog Consulting is rumored to be a great resource.

I gathered these links for the Friday Exchange. They include some resources on blogging in small businesses.

Here are some resources for nonprofits.

Addendum 9/13: Bill Ives highlights some business blogs, including the Small Business Blog, in part one and part two of posts based on some of the links I share.

You post content; they get revenue:

Thanks so much for providing this. I will review it carefully and am certainly interested in anything more that you have. See you next week. Bill

Actually, this is intended for another Bill, not the Bill who commented above–not that he or any other Bills can’t read it, too. (The problems of common names … ) I didn’t think I needed to tell that Bill about his blog, Portals and KM. = )
