October 30th Blog Meeting is Shaping Up

Save the date announcements went out tonight regarding the Special Libraries Association Boston Chapter program about blogging and feeds that will be at Mount Holyoke College on Saturday, October 30th.

Kris Liberman, who I hope will be blogging by then, will moderate. Garrett Eastman may talk about blogging in his organization, how he got started, and what kinds of things he blogs. Shimon Rura and Josh Ain, developers of Frassle, will give a version of their OSCOM talk. I have no idea what I’ll say, but it might be some form of the intro to blogging talks I’ve been giving. I think the panel will have things to offer people who have no idea what weblogs and feeds are and people who have been blogging for a while, but want to know more about it and maybe what the future of blogging will be like.

I met one of the program planners tonight.
