Survey: Use of Blogs by Information Professionals and Knowledge Managers

Julia Habermann, a student of information science and economics, is writing her thesis about the usage and value of weblogs as a source of business news and information for information professionals and knowledge managers. I am posting this noticed about her survey (linked above) on her behalf.

She would like to survey information professionals and knowledge managers from around the world to determine what role weblogs should play in their everyday research activities as well as to assist their customers to better maximize the value of weblogs as a source of business news and information.

The survey should take about 5 minutes to complete and
will be used exclusively for her thesis. The results will not be
used for any other purposes. The identities of all respondents will remain anonymous and will not be tracked. Any participant can receive a copy of the results.

The survey ends on October 20, 2004.
