Bill Ives on Personal Knowledge Management and Blogging
Yeah, sure, he talks about this topic frequently on Portals and KM, but a few of us heard him talk about the topic and his blog at Thursday’s blog group. As the de facto group secretary, I took notes on that blog. They are linked above.
Bill challenged us to talk about our own blogs and several people did. It’s difficult for me to talk and take notes at the same time, so I mostly listened and typed. (Listening and Typing … hhhmmm … maybe that should be the name of my next blog …) Bill challenged me to talk about my eight blogs at an upcoming meeting. Since people often rag me about having so many blogs, I responded that it might be a good idea so that I can present my argument for having multiple blogs and then we could have a discussion about blogging on multiple blogs. I wonder if I can postpone it until after the talk at the ASIST Annual Meeting I’m giving on November 16. (Speaking of this meeting, early bird registration ends Friday, October 1.)
