Blogging Course Approved for SLA 2005 Annual Conference

Great news: The Special Libraries Association has approved the SLA News Division’s proposal to offer a half-day continuing education course about weblogs, blogging, and feeds at the Special Libraries Association 2005 Annual Conference in Toronto, June 4-8. Professional development chair Jim Hunter hopes toh lots of hands-on learning to a group of about 25 participants. I will be working with him to develop the course and will probably be teaching part of it.

More details will appear in this space as they become available.

Yeah!!!!! I’m so glad this proposal went through. Kudos to Jim for all his hard work on this and to you for being the supreme blogger that you are. Even though I don’t know what the next year is going to bring me, I hope it includes a trip to Toronto and a seat in this class.
