New Image with this Blog in Feedster

Those Feedster people make me laugh. While I wasn’t watching, they switched the photo of the totally hot redhead that was linked to this blog for a piece of my knitting. (Yes, the sidebar on this blog is an actual piece of my knitting I scanned in and lightened. The light-weight, cotton sweater was a summer project I knew I wasn’t going to finish. One day when I have time, I will knit again. Maybe while my computer’s in the shop and I can’t blog in the evenings, I could pick up that project again. It might be better for me to finish the white sweater I’ve been working on, since it’s something I could actually wear in the winter or early spring. But the book I’m reading has my attention now.)

Sorry, guys. There’s nothing interesting to look at attached to this blog in Feedster anymore. But it is still a great search engine and you should use it, regardless of whether my image is a hot redhead or not. (If you find yourself wondering about the photo of the redhead, check out this search for the playful antiquarian, another blogger who is also not the redhead in the photo.)

(I’m taking this totally in good humor, by the way. I’m sure that’s not coming across in my posts very well, but I’ve been laughing and joking about it with my blogging friends.)

One of these days when I’m back online in a better state, I will actually get around to claiming my feed.

I appreciate Feedster’s efforts to remedy the situation. I actually hadn’t thought about using another image for my blog in Feedster. Perhaps I’ll leave it. I just figured eventually I’d try to remove any image there. Oh, gee, maybe I need to think about a logo and branding and all of that …

Maybe now that your laptop is in the shop, you can get back to knitting (see my knitting blog at christinasknitting.blogspot.com). Anyway, and more seriously, I get errors every time I try to add a photo to my feeds. I’ll contact feedster since I now know it’s just me.

I haven’t tried to upload an image to Feedster yet, so it may not be just you, Christina. Just because of my incredible luck at finding bugs, I imagine I could encounter some kind of error during the process. Someone, I’m assuming someone at Feedster, magically swapped the images while I’ve been offline.

I also have a separate blog for knitting somewhere. I haven’t done anything with it for a long time, kinda like how I haven’t touched my knitting for a long time.
