A Wedding Blog
Okay, now, it took me a while to go look at this blog Wendy and Joey created for their wedding plans. I thought “Do I really want to read the gooey details about their plans and everything?” But they’re one of my favorite couples and I couldn’t resist. As I looked at their blog, I realized it’s a totally innovative way to communicate to their friends and families, especially since many of them are probably capable of using a Web browser. It’s also a good idea for them because their blogs probably have thousands of readers–thousands of people who might want to know all the details about their wedding but whom they couldn’t possibly realistically invite to the ceremony.
What I think is especially valuable is that it gives people on either side–people who only know Wendy or people who only know Joey–an introduction to the other person. It’s a way for the bride’s friends and relatives to learn something about the groom and vice versa.
Ah, yes, another innovative blog showing the power of the technology.

I must agree with your comments regarding their blog. It appears that Joey has made a geniunely great effort in portraying the details of planning their wedding. It is filled with some interesting entries and photos. They are both equally candid and humorous.

Wedding blogs are a creative way to give everyone you know access to information about your wedding. We created a wedding website with a blog for our wedding and everyone loved it. We included the URL on the invitations and everything. It was really a big hit, I think more and more couples are using wedding websites and wedding blogs to announce their weddings as well as keep a large number of people up to speed on everything without all the hassle.
