The Visual Thesaurus

I realize that paying attention to advertising is a bad thing, but when I saw the graphic (caution: this is an ad) at the top of a Merriam-Webster page (you’ll probably see a different ad here), I was reminded of some nifty thesaurus tools I’ve seen, like SemioMap. Mapping words and their relationships to each other visually can be very useful and, well, look neat.

Now I’m thinking about what it would be like to map related blog posts in a similar fashion …
