Ton Zylstra has discussed wikifying the blog:  http://www.zylstra.org/blog/archives/001390.html Maybe something like that would be of interest?  Personally, I think the people who talk about a PIM or KM toolbox are heading the right direction.  IOW, give the users a suite or toolbox of aps and they will grow their own solution by picking an choosing formats off a menu.  The starter toolbox would have e-mail, blogs, wikis, static web pages... all searchable.</description>
